How to Form a Limited Company and Protect your Home Address

When forming your limited by shares company, Companies House will request the following addresses:

• Registered Office (on the public register)
• Director’s Service Address (on the public register)
• Director’s Residential Address (not on the public register)
• Secretary’s Address (on the public register)
• Shareholder’s Address (on the public register)

Therefore, to protect your home address simply make sure that every address listed above that is on the public register is not your home address. Obviously you can only use an address if you have permission from the address-holder.
