It doesn’t matter if you have one company under your control, or hundreds – you want the information that’s displayed on your Company Formation MadeSimple account to be 100% correct and up to date. Here’s where the ‘Sync Data with Companies House’ option comes in.
If you make a change to a company (director appointment etc) or you file something with Companies House (annual returns etc) – the new information is not always reflected automatically on the company’s admin page.
This is why as soon as you log in to a company’s admin page, you should select the ‘Sync Data with Companies House’ link at the top of the page. Once clicked, in a matter of seconds the information shown on screen reflects the information that Companies House hold.
Please note, this function only works if we hold a valid webfiling authentication code for the company.

If you manage multiple limited companies (do you know about our Company Formation for Professionals service?), we have a shortcut that ensures all the due dates on your ‘My Companies’ page are up to date. All you need to do is access the ‘My Companies’ page and select the ‘Update All’ button on the right of your screen. Once again, this will only work for those companies that we hold a valid webfiling authentication code for.
