Moving the Registered Office to another country within the UK…
Can’t be done unless, well we’ll get to that.
Prompted by a forum thread we saw recently on the UK Business Forums where a gentleman wanted to move his registered office from Scotland to England, we thought we’d write a post about what can and can’t be done regarding moving the registered office.
If you formed a limited company with a registered office based in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can not move it out of the country. If you formed a company with a registered office based in England or Wales you can move it, but only to England or Wales.
