We’re often asked if dormant companies still have to file annual returns. The answer is yes, they do! Annual Returns do not deal with the financial side of a limited company, therefore being dormant is irrelevant.
The only way being dormant could impact upon the return is if the company chose to use the dormant company SIC code (99999), other than that, it simply doesn’t matter if the company is trading or dormant.
