Last month we posted about the common misconception that dormant companies don’t have to file annual returns. Today we’re posting about another similar and just as common misconception; that dormant companies are not required to file annual accounts with Companies House.
Dormant companies have the same filing obligations with Companies House as trading companies (annual returns and annual accounts are both required), the only difference is that if a company has always been dormant they can file dormant company accounts rather than normal accounts.
