Company Formation Name Availability: The Limits on Limited

If you are forming a Private Company Limited By Shares with us, the company must end in the prefix Limited or Ltd. There’s absolutely no difference between Limited and Ltd, it is purely aesthetic.

When searching to see if your proposed name is available from our homepage you don’t have to enter Limited or Ltd, we will add LTD automatically.
