Limited and Ltd: What suffix to use?
When forming your company, one of many choices that you have is what suffix to use, “Limited” or “Ltd”? So what’s the difference?
Well, other than aesthetics there isn’t a difference. They mean the same thing.
But…
If you form with “Limited” you can abbreviate to just “Ltd”, however, if you form with “Ltd” you can not lengthen to “Limited”. Don’t ask us why, Companies House make the rules!
