Limited or Ltd?
When forming your Limited Company one of the first decisions to make is whether your company name should end in Limited or Ltd. You can’t form a Limited Company without one of them so your options are… limited.
So how will this choice impact upon your company? Well not very much really, it is purely aesthetic. Your choice will show up on official documents and on the Companies House records but other than that it really does not matter.
In short Limited and Ltd are exactly the same thing, you can even form the company with Limited but use Ltd and vice-versa.
