Our Company Formation VAT Explained

If you purchase any of our company formation packages you may notice that our prices plus VAT don’t appear to add up. For example, our Basic package (£16.99 plus VAT) totals £17.79 at the checkout; however the conventional method would see it total £20.38. So what are we doing?

We’re not adding VAT to the Companies House £13 filing fee. We’re just adding it to our fee. So:

£16.99 – The £13 Companies House fee = £3.99 (Our fee)

£3.99 + VAT = £4.79

£13 + £4.79 = £17.79
