If you are a director of a Limited Company you may have come across the term SAIL address. So what is this?
Well first off, nothing to do with a boat.
The SAIL (Single Alternative Inspection Location) address is simply the location where company registers and records are kept if they’re not kept at the registered office. This address must be in the UK.
Having a SAIL address is totally optional. To add a SAIL address to your Limited Company complete this form and file with Companies House.
