Company Dissolution: You can’t Dissolve when…
The company dissolution is a process of closing your limited company and removing it from the Companies House register of active limited companies. Companies House will not accept a dissolution request for your company if:
• The dissolution document (DS01) has not been signed by the majority of directors
• If the company has traded within the last 3 months
• If the company has changed its’ name within the last 3 months
• The company is involved in insolvency proceedings
For further information on the dissolution process visit the Companies House FAQ’s page.
